2010 AGM
The society’s Annual General Meeting and ferret show is taking place on Saturday 27th March 2010 at the Benwick village hall.
For all members out there who have never attended an AGM in the past it is at this meeting that we discuss how the society is doing, how it performed during the year, talk about any problems and come up with new ideas / incentives for the future.
The 2010 AGM is a very important meeting as it is nomination time for the principle member positions.
The Principle positions are as follows:
· Chairman,
· Vice-chairman,
· Secretary / show secretary
· Treasurer
· Membership Secretary
Key role members:
· Newsletter Editor
· Website Editor
Any member of the society can be nominated for any of these roles, but will only be appointed if their nomination is backed up by a second unrelated member and have a majority vote on the day of the AGM.
Members of the committee will also be determined, this is open to all society members who wish to contribute and support the principle members.

The society trailer - storage, getting it to shows
Working with other rescue groups – rescue and re homing
Promotion of open ferret shows
If you are unable to attend the AGM , your ideas, worries, and of cause nominations are still important please have a look at the form below. The forms will be taken to the AGM and will be put forward on your behalf. Please return your forms to amanda.ferret@btinternet.com
